$ 19.85 per hour

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of IT, this position will require work on-site Monday to Friday.

Shift start times will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Shifts are 8 hours in length with 1 hour break, for a total of 35 hours per week.

Days of rest shall be consecutive. Schedule may change with two weeks’ notice. The position is temporary and for 8 weeks.

Job Duties

Job Duties: 

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Information Technology team. 

  • Assist with technology set up, maintenance, and support for new and existing users. 

  • Resolve day-to-day helpdesk requests from users. 

  • Assist with ongoing and new projects, including computer, server, networking, and application deployments. 

  • Various other IT tasks to grow your knowledge in the field of Information Technology. 


 

Qualifications & Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Valid OFA 1 First Aid Training Certificate is an asset 
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Skills Training is an asset 
  • Must pass a satisfactory Criminal Record Check 
  • Must be within the ages of 15-30 to qualify
  • Criminal Record Check Required
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident (Canada Jobs requirement)

Skills and Abilities: 

  • Demonstrated communication skills both verbal and written 
  • Ability to manage high workload with multiple priorities 
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills 
  • Strong computer skills
